water that falls on land in the form of rain collects in ponds or flows as streams or rivers. the river carry the water back to the oceans. the rivers carry the water back to the oceans. this never-ending movement of water is called hydrological cycle or water cycle.

The sun shines on the sea water and heats it. This creates the water to evaporate and raise as water vapour.
Once they reached highest in the sky. They condense and forms clouds. The clouds blow towards the land by wind or air.
They precipitate over the land as rainfall. They form river which carry the water back to the sea.
The cycle repeats itself...
