it is a kind of fluid found in a living cell..
although it is a fluid it also contains strands of protein..
the cytoplasm fluid is thicker than water you can assume it as jam like having pieces of fruit..
as it holds all the parts of cell internal parts it also buffers protection..
it also holds different processes like glycolysis in it..
