Explain what is democracy? Give example of non- democratic countries?

Democracy is a form of government in which the citizens of a country has the right to choose the ruler of their country.In this form of government, people are granted with number of rights.
Examples of Non-democratic countries are: Saudi Arabia, South Korea ,etc.

The meaning of democracy can be understood in three senses:- In direct democracy, the commom people form the government by directly electing people on various issues. In Representative government people elect their representatives and they then meet to form the governing body. Lastly is the Constitution democracy the rights of the minority is protected in a place where the government is formed by the majority.


The countries where democracy is least practiced is North Korea, Libya, Afghanistan and Iran.
