A force where two forces of equal size, act on a body, in opposing directions is known as a Balanced Force. In Balanced Force, a body continues to be in its position i.e. it may be continuously moving with the same speed and in the same direction or it may be still in its position.

Balanced Force means that the two or more forces acting on an object without affecting the speed or position of the object.

Or you can say that the applied forces cancels each other so that the remaining force acting is 0.

Example:

If you are lifting an object with uniform acceleration then the force applied on lifting th object and the force applied by gravitational force which is pulling the object downwards cancels each other. so the remaining force left will be 0 called as balanced Force
