hi friend,

molarity is defined as number of moles of solute present in 1L (1000ml) of the solution.molarity is denoted by 'M'.

units of molarity :- mole/litre

mathematically ,we can define molarity as

M=n/V(in litres)

n→no.of moles of solute

V→volume of the solution .

M= given weight /( molecular weight ×volume in litres )

I hope this will help u ;)

by calculating molarity we can measure number of moles in the 1 liter of the solution by which we can understand the concentration of the solution

M=n/V

n----no.of moles of solute

V----volume of the solution in litres
