Normality indicate the concentration of the solution. normality definition is the weight of solute dissolved in a leter of solution. normality is also know as the equivalent concentration of the solution. normality of a solution can be calculated when atomic mass and volume are known.

NORMALITY
----------------------------
Normality is the number of gram equivalents of solute dissolved or mixed in per liter of the given solutions .For calculating normality the atomic mass and volume should be known. It is also known as "equivalent concentration of a solution." Basically Normality is specifically used for the acids and bases.
"NOTE" - The normality of a solution is NEVER less than its molarity!

                                                       gram equivalent of solute
                       NORMALITY  = --------------------------------------------
                                                     Volume of solution (In liter)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Best of luck ;)
