  • when we square a positive number we get a positive result.

 {2}^{2} = + 4

  • when we square a negative number we also get a positive result (because a negative times a negative gives a positive)

 { - 2}^{2} = + 4

Hope it helps u...

Answer:

a complex number is a number which can be expressed in the form of a+bi

where a & b are real numbers and I=√-1

4 can be represented as a+bi

where a=4 and b=0
