Consumers must be well informed:

1. Consumers can be sold adulterated good, defective products or wrong quantity to increase profits of the sellers.

2. Such malpractices can not only be exploitative but also harmful to consumers.

3. False information can be advertised on media to attract buyers. For example, a company selling baby milk powder advertised for a long time that it was better than mother's milk.

A consumer has  the right  to be informed because of his safety as any product without any information can be harmful for him and can cause hazardeous effect to his health and can lead to his death....and  to avoid the cases that are filed in the consumer court for the fulfillment of the loss they have incurred by any unimformed product.....

I hope you will be satisifed with this answer and if you have any compliant regarding the answere please let me informed......
