as the pressure increases when the depth increases, its volume also decreases as pressure exerts at all directions in that bubble. As the bubble rises, the pressure decreases and the volume increases resulting in increase in the size of the bubble

Answer:
A gas bubble released at the bottom of a lake grows in size as it rises to the surface of the lake because pressure decrease continuously when it go up in water. At any point under the surface of liquid, pressure is proportional to its depth.
