Himalayan rivers are called perennial because they are filled with water throughout the year . they have many sources of water as glaciers when melts , it provides them water , there is heavy rainfall that increases their water level
that's why Himalayan rivers i.e. Indus , ganga , Brahmaputra are called perennial rivers
hope this helps

Hi!

Himalayan rivers are also called perennial rivers because, they are also called snow-fed rivers. They have water throughout the year. Once during the snow melts in the mountain peaks, these rivers experience a flood. Again during the Monsoons arrive, they flood again, because of the heavy rainfall. Thus they are perennial. some examples are:-
●Brahmaputra
●Ganga
●Indus

Thank you
(Hope This Helps)
