Explain why antibiotics do not work against viruses but work against in group of Bacteria

Antibiotics do not work against viruses because viruses have few biochemical mechanism of their own. They enter our cell and use our machinery for their life processes. While bacteria have their own biochemical processes, that can be blocked by the antibiotics without affecting us
