Dear Deaparted is a very humourous play. It shows the degradation of moral values in british middle class houses. It shows how the children love the wealth of their parents more thean them. It also shows the jealousy and selfishness in the society. More the Mourningness in the heart both the sisters were showing showing their sorrow through their mourning dress. They preferred tea rather than seeing her dead father. And they also they were also worried about what to post in the newspaper. They started disscussing about division before the funeral. This shows that they were in love with the materialistic possessions of their father. And when her father told that he will alter his will and will leave all his wealth with the one he will be living with at tje time of his death, his daughters satrted fighting to keep him with them but before they thought of hm as a burden.
