explain why blue vittriol change to white upon heating

Blue vitrol that is cupper sulpate decahydrate contains water molecules. That is the reason it is in blue. One heating the water molecules separate and vaporize. Thus only the cupper sulpate is left behind which is white in color. This is the reason why blue vitriol changes to white on heating.
