Explain why bond angle in NH3 is more than in H2O molecule though both have sp3 hybridization.

in NH3 and H2O there are one and two lone pair of electron .these lone pair are delocalized and tend to spread out forcing the bonding pairs of electron closer together due to the repulsion . in H2O there are two lone pair of electron so more repulsion in H2O .so the bond angle of NH3 is greater than H2O
