burning of petrol& diesel leads to acid rain becoz these fuels contains carbon, no2, so2 and during the burning of these fuels these gases gets released into the atmosphere and tese gases reacts with the rain water and fall down as acid rain..                                                                                                                               If this answer is not enough join some other point to it.
