covalent bond is formed on most of itscompounds. carbon compounds forms covalent bonds because it is tetravalent , it can neither gain or lose electrons, so it shrares them. (1)-carbon compounds have low melting boiling point because in betweencarbon compounds covalent bondsare formed which is weaker bond

hey buddy!!

Here is your answer;

The two reasons are:-

(1) Catenation- it is the self linking property of carbon with another elements due to its tetravalency.

(2) The size of carbon atom is very strong so it forms max. stable compounds.

➡hope this helps you deaR ✌✌✌.
