in convex lens when the two parallel Ray of light bisect the convex lens and it reflect and goes and bisect each other at a place so it is known as converging lens and in the concave lens the same parallel Ray of light go and bisect the lens and goes diverge without meeting at a single place then it is called

hey!!

here is ur answer!!

============================================================

CONVERGING OR CONVEX LENS :

A convex lens is thick in its middle and thin at the periphery.In other words ,a lens which bulges out in the middle,is the convex lens..

A light beam while passing through it converges therefore it is also called the converging lens..

DIVERGING OR CONCAVE LENS :

A concave lens is thick at its periphery and thin in the middle.In other words a lens which is bent inwards in the middle,is known as concave lens..

This lens diverges the light rays incident on it,and therefore it is also known as diverging lens..

hope this  helps u!!
