find a natural number whose square diminished by 84 is equal to its twice

Let the number be x
Then according to question
x²-84=2x
or,x²-2x-84=0
or,by using quadratic formula
x=1+√85 or1-√85
neglecting the negative value x=1+√85=10.21
which can be rounded off to 10.
