Explain why distilled water doesn't conduct electricity but tap ater conduct some electricity

B'coz of presence of certain impurities in tap water including Mg ion, and Nacl.etc..which conduct electricity in tap water..while there is nothing except only H^2O in dustilled water.which dont conduct electricity..
