Explain why do the planets not twinkle but the stars twinkle?

actually stars doesn't twinkle it due to fact that stars being million times far from us and ours atmospheres density and many external factors make stars to twinkle.the only difference is stars are much much farther than us except sun,while planets which doesn't produce it's own light are comparitevly near to us...

stars Twinkle because of turbulence in the atmosphere of the Earth. The planets have not turbulence.
