Reasons for soil being too acidic :-
→ Acid Rains,
→Excessive use of fertilizers and,
→ Excessive usE of pesticides.
In such cases (when soil becomes too acidic), we should :-
→ Spread a mild base all over the land if the soil is less acidic or,
→ Spread a strong base all over the land if the soil is too much acidic.
This is because a base will help in the neutralization of the pH of soil is the soil os acidic in nature.
