Explain why fluorine forms only one oxoacid, HOF.

this is because fluorine is very small and have high repulsion in its cell
so it can Hardly form only one oxoacid

Hey !!

F can exhibit only one oxidation state - 1 and in HOF it exhibits -1 oxidation state so it can form only HOF and also absence of d-orbital in F.
