jallianwala Bagh massacre on 13th of April 1913 a large crowd of about 10000 people had assembled in the enclosed jallianwala Bagh in Amritsar.some had come to the protest against the repressive measures of the British & others to attend the annual bisakhi fair.General Dyre British military commander plugged of all the possible exists & without any warning ordered his troops to open fire on peaceful and unarmed protestors the firing lasted for ten minutes and resulting into death about 1000 indians and wounded 2000.this incident is popular in the history as "jallianwala Bagh massacre".............
