it is simple because there is limited amount of fossil fuels on earth. they were formed by decomposition of bodies of plants and animals which got buried in earth millions of years ago. they can't be made in labs etc. the conditions they need can't be formed in lab. they need time of about million years to get prepared. the resources which can exhausted by discriminate using are called exhaustible resources. and if the usage of fossil fuels will continue at the current rate then they will only last for next 60 years. so think about that. use cycles for covering short distances. and even by this you can save your environment toon
