Hydrochloric acid is considered as a strong acid and ethanoic acid is a weak acid. Because the HCl completely dissociates into H+ and Cl- ions. The reason being that it is an ionic inorganic substance. ... Then it maintains an equilibrium between its dissociated state and undissociated state

Hydrochloric Acid is very strong acid .

It has a very low pH , extremely acidic , higher concentration of H+ ions than OH- ions and it's extent of Ionization of H+ ions , when dissolved in acid is high . HCL completely dissociates .

So , Hydrochloric Acid is very strong acid ....
