Explain why hydrogen can reduce copper (ii) oxide but not aluminium oxide

Explanation:

Aluminium oxide is a strong reducing agent has a strong affinity towards oxygen and hence needs very high temperature for getting reduced whereas copper is not a strong reducing agent as aluminium and so it can be reduced by hydrogen.
