Explain why inspite of nearly the same electronegativity, nitrogen forms hydrogen bonding while chlorine does not.

Atomic size of oxygen is smaller than the atomic size of chlorine. Small atomic size favours hydrogen bond formation. Hence, inspite of nearly the same electronegativity, nitrogen forms hydrogen bonding while chlorine does not.
