Work is defined as dot product of force and displacement.
Work=F·r (F=torque in circular motion)
In uniform circular motion, the angular velocity is constant , so angular acceleration of object =0.
As F =mα=0
the work will also 0.

in uniform circular motion displacement =0
work done = force × displacement
as, displacement =0
so, work done =0
thats why in uniform circular motion work done is 0
