explain why kinetic energy of molecules increases with an increases in temperature

the increase in heat or temperature is just an increase in vibrational energy of molecules ...when they vibrates their movement rate becomes faster ..hence the kinetic energy increases with increase in temperature .as movement increase the velocity of molecules also increase and according to the formula of kinetic energy with increase in velocity the k.e. increase ...
