Monsoon is considered as unifying bond because monsoon affects whole country except the northern part of himalayas in some or the other way.Monsoon is uncertain .like for example, there is 300-400 cm of rain in one part of India whereas in the other part rain has not shown its appearance!!!such an area is a drought-prone area.

The Indian landscape, its creature and plant growth, the farming calendar and the development of the people including their celebrations and financial requirements revolve around the monsoon. Every year the people of India impatiently await the coming of the monsoon season. These monsoon blows compel the entire nation by contributing water to initiate the farming activities. Thus the monsoon is viewed as a unifying bond for the Indian subcontinent
