NH3 is a liquid while HCL is gas at room temperature this is because NH3 are bonded to each other through intermolecular force with hydrogen bonds and NH3 has a stronger intermolecular force of attraction than HCL has she is the molecular are attracted strongly they have to have a greater kinetic energy in order to them to escape them as a gas that's why
