Answer:
In sexual reproduction, when two gametes fused together it results in the formation of a zygote that gives rise to a new individual. Each gamete has 23 (n=Haploid) chromosomes that mean half the number of chromosomes in a parent cell (diploid 2n=46 chromosomes). When these haploid gametes fuse to form a zygote, the zygote will have 23+23= 46 chromosomes which are equal to the number of chromosomes in the parent cell. Hence both the parents and offspring have the equal number of chromosomes.

Answer:
The fusion of two gamete resulting offspring in sexual reproduction. In sexual reproduction both parent have haploid(n) number of chromosome. When two haploid gamete are fused then the number of chromosome is diploid(2n).So in sexually reproducing organism have same number of chromosome with parents.
