Explain why only turgid leaf is selected for the preparation of temporary mount of a leaf pel. ​

For making a temporary mount of a leaf peel turgid leaves are used because, in a turgid leaf, the cells in a turgid leaf swell up and thus can be stained and visualized easily under a microscope
