Explain why steam at 100 degrees celsius is better for heating purposes than boiling water at 100 degree c

It is because in the conversion of water into steam some latent heat is taken up only to increase the kinetic energy between the

particles so the physical state can be changed . This latent heat is present in stream but not in water. Therefore , steam at 100 degrees celsius is better for heating purposes than boiling water.
