Explain why tea plantations are found on hill slopes


haris112: tea plants doesnt require stagnent water. In slopes water is drained quickly. also tgey require loamy soil which is found in hills

tea doesnot require more water to grow
it cannot stand in still water so it is gown on hill so that water will not stable at one place

Tea plantation demands evenly distributed rainfall with no water logging issues. The hill slopes provide an easy drainage of rain water, hence prevents the condition of water logging.
Moreover,the tea plants grow well in the loamy soil which is found mostly over the hill slopes.
