Bile juice does not contain digestive enzyme but still it plays a very imp role in digestion of food. Role of Bile juice in digestion:-
1.It neutralises the HCl and protects small intestine from corrosion.
2.it prevent putrefaction of food
3.bile breaks down large fat globules into small fat globules. This process is called emulsification and this allow the pancreatic enzyme to easily digest fat
4.it provides a basic medium for pancreatic juice to act

\red\longmapsto\: Bile juice does not contain digestive enzymes, but it contains Bile salt.

.♦These bile salts emulsify fats into very small micelles ( Emulsified fats ).

\red\longmapsto\: Bile also activates lipase. This lipase converts emulsified fats into fatty acids and glycerols.

.♦ In this way ,bile juice helps in the digestion of fats.
