Co2 molecule is linear whereas So2 molecule is bent because
➡️ because CO2 is a Ax2 type molecule in which there are two bonding and no lone pair on carbon due to which it is linear .
whereas SO2 is a AX2E type molecule with two bonding pairs and 1 lone pairs on sulphur atom.
