The first half cycle is called as proliferative phase as well as follicular phase as in the first half cycle the endometrium get proliferate i.e. get regenerate and in this phase follicular changes also occur in ovary the primary follicle changes to mature follicle following the sequence of primary follicle-seconadary follicle-tertiary follicle- mature graffian follicle.
