Acceleration:-

The rate of change in velocity with time terms as acceleration.

In order to move in a circle a body has to continuously change it's direction.

Velocity changes if the direction or magnitude or both changes with time.

In this case the magnitude of velocity remains same but the direction continuously changes because of centripetal force on the body which makes it possible for the body to have circular path.

So we can see body changes it's direction of motion which means change in velocity hence the body have accelerated motion.

Answer:

uniform circular motion is accelerated because velocity changes due to continous change in direction of the motion.

thus , body moving in circular path with constant speed so it's velocity changes continuously.

the change in the velocity give rise to accleration in the moving body....
