DRAINAGE SYSTEM IN INDIA IS CONTROLLED BY BROAD RELIEF FEATURES OF THE SUBCONTINENT.  INDIAN RIVERS ARE DIVIDED

ITS TRIBUTARIES FROM HIMALAYA: YAMUNA,GHAGHARA,GUNDAK,AND THE KOSI.
TRIBUTARIES FROM PINNINSULAR UPLANDS:CHAMBAL,BETWA,AND THE SON.
BRAHMAPUTRA RIVER SYSTEM:
