Explain why the planets do not twinkle but the stars twinkle class 10

Stars twinkle because they’re so far away from Earth that when light from the stars passes through the atmosphere, it is bent countless times due to refraction, making it look like as if they were blinking. The sun and planets don't twinkle because it’s too close to Earth compared to other stars.

because starts twinkle due refraction of our eyes and its infinite diameter...planets did not twinkle due to the nearest....and it happened due to the reflection of light..
