tropical rainforests receive rain all throughout the year. they also have humid climate making it a perfect environment for a variety of plant species to thrive. This means that there is a lot of food for herbivorous creatures to feed on. The huge population of prey will attract predators. Hence, tropical rainforests have a large animal population.
