this happens bcoz when we r in bright sunshine then our pupil becomes smaller so as to let less light enter our eye
but when we go in darkened cinema then the light is less so our pupil needs to expand to let in more light which takes some time
after our pupil adjusts ,we r able to see clearly

Heya!
Here's your answer -
We cannot see our surrounding clearly when we enter a darkened cinema hall from bright sunshine as in the bright sunshine our pupil contracts as there was more amount of light while we need smaller amount.
Thus, for a few minutes we won't be able to see clearly.
But then when we enter the cinema hall, the amount of light decreases due to which our pupils expand to see in dim light.
Hope it helps!!
