explain why we cannot see our surrounding clearly when we enter a darkened cinema hall from bright sunshine but our vision improves after sometime

It happens because when we stay in sunlight, the pupil becomes small to avoid excessive light entering into the eyes. When we come in a darkened cinema hall, the pupil stays small because eyes cannot adjust the environment directly. It takes time. That's why we can't see properly in darkened hall after coming from sunshine. Hope it helps.

whenever you go to a place where there is dim light your pupils in your eyes become larger to get maximum light. The opposite happens when u go into a bright place. when you r in bright sunshine your pupils are very small when u enter a cinema your pupils take a while to enlarge themselves.
