Due to kinetic energy of the molecules and high intermolecular space, smell of perfume can be smelled from a considerable distance.

because particle of air are continuosly moving and have a large amount of space between them, the particle of the perfume mixed with the air as they have a large amount of space between them so we are able to smell the perfume by sitting far away
