It's a very simple thing (in easy terms) fire produces heat that's why we feel warmer if we stand with back to a fire

Answer:

  • When a fire is turned on, the heat produced due to the burning makes the air around it warmer than the air that is farther away this is a simple endothermic reaction in which heat gets transferred from hotter to cooler medium.
  • When we stand near the Fire the same reaction takes place with our body. Our body being at a lower temperature from the heat around us will start absorbing heat from the environment thus making it another endothermic reaction which is responsible for us to feel warm near fire.
