IT IS SUSPENDED INSDE THE GLASS JAR.
THE JAR IS CONNECTED TO A VACCUM PUMP.
THE SWITCH IS ON AND AIR IS STARTED TO BE PUMPED OUT.

AT FIRST WE CAN HEAR THE RINGING SOUND OF BELL CLEARY. AS SOON AIR IS PUMPED OUT, THE SOUND OF THE BELL STARTS TO BECOME FEEBLE. AFTER THE AIR IS COMPLETELY VACATED OUT, NO SOUND IS HEARD.

AFTER THIS EXPERIMENT THE CONCLUSION COMES, AS VACCUM IS CREATED IN THE JAR, NO SOUND IS HEARD. THIS MEANS SOUND ALWAYS NEEDS A MEDIUM TO TRAVEL.
