This experiment can be proved by using acetone.
Acetone is a highly volatile liquid and evaporates even in the heat of our palm.
Place a little drop of it in the palm of the hand and it soon evaporates creating a chillness in our palm.
That place in our palm becomes extremely cool.
This proves that heat is absorbed during evaporation.

When a liquid evaporates it requires certain Amount of heat to increase its average kinetic energy of its molecules so that it can reach its boiling point .....

For Example-
If a person stand in sunlight for 5 to 10 minutes and then suddenly comes In front of a cooler then the sweat from its body evaporates by taking heat energy from body and thus a person gets a cooling sensation ....
