Field visits are a very important part of geographical knowledge because :

● field visits or field exertion helps in motivation and developing interest of the students are the teachers who are visiting the place.

● it is like getting a practical knowledge of something which is really helpful because a theoretical knowledge isn't everything and cannot provide with every detail where as the practical knowledge is a fun way to learn things and to get to know them.

● field knowledge tends to increase the skill and the recreational powers of the students.

● field exertion also plays an important role in reinforcement of the theoretical things that a student have learnt in the classroom.
