“Wolf” written by Keki N. Daruwalla explains his feelings for the wolf or wolves lived near his house.  He used to feel the wolf from the stories heard and from the distant vision he would have had.  The stories narrated to him by his mother in order to put him to sleep as child, has created a lasting impression that he could feel the wolf with “black snout” and “sulphur body” forced gently its way into his consciousness that his cry of death pain, caused by humans, kept ringing during the poet’s sleep.
